Is It Easy To Quit Smoking?

Posted by Unknown | Wednesday, March 24, 2010

well,it is a difficult question to answer.before saying anything i must declare with dignity that i am still an ex smoker.and talking about quitting smoking, take the example of me.when i first decided to stop smoking it felt like hell.even i thought its impossible to live without smoking.but decided to stop smoking because i felt some pain just below my left upper abdominal area.there is no option to continue smoking because if i am smoking i am going to die.so i sticked to the decision of quiting smoking.and that is the most important decision i took in my whole life.making this decision when you are passing through the second week of quitting smoking is the most challenging work for your brain, because at that time nicotine totally controls your Brain every decision you make have overcome the control of nicotine over your head.when you stop smoking, the nicotine receptors that created during the whole time you inhaled cigarette, start protesting inside your brain creating headache, restlessness, impatience and most importantly interfering with the power of decision making of your brain and forcing it to think positively towards nicotine.
so when you decide to quit smoking you have to keep in mind that nicotine have already created disorders in your brain.just after few days of quitting your brain also try o fool you, under the effect of nicotine.at that time you have to take the control of your brain from the nicotine to yourself.you have to know that at that time you have to live with two brains.

  1. one side of brain which are under the control of nicotine and will force you to think positively towards nicotine.sometimes you will get the feeling that one more cigarette will not do any more damage,i will die if i will not smoke etc.at this time you have to use the other brain you have.
  2. this is the other side of brain which is under your control.you have to use this brain extensively to defeat the nicotine monster from your brain.
if you are able to differentiate between these two side of your brain then no one can stop you from quitting smoking.
when i stopped smoking the first three weeks are the most painful weeks of my whole life.i am telling you After these three weeks everything will come to normal.now i am feeling like a normal person without any withdrawal effect.i never thought that things will go so normal.but you have to at least wait two months to feel like this.before this period if you will fail then no one can save you.all you have to do is to take a rock solid decision to quit.i am telling you many aspects may come in your way when you will think to go back to your addiction.the good news is my looks also changed a lot after i quit smoking.
if nothing wrong happened with you then this post may be a blessing for you to take the precious decision of quiting cigarette because if once you will feel any type of illness due to smoking then you will feel guilty of making an bad habit.this way you will accumulate much more pressure on your brain which will only worsen your condition.i am writing this because i don't want anyone to suffer from the same kind of problems that i suffered due to smoking.when i realised about my fault i thought why no body explained me about the bad effects of smoking!!!that's why i am giving you the information its your choice its your life.you have the power to save your body's metabolism process from being spoiled by the effects of nicotine.

coming to the topic as i said above "quit smoking"very easy if you will manage to get rid of the first two months.after that the effect will gradually decrease.after that you will hardly notice that you were a smoker.believe me its true.i am also a victim of this nicotine monster.i will never tell a lie to you because i know how much truth and support we smokers want to stop smoking.
when this part is over and you will feel like a non smoker then you will get rid of the irritation in your life for leaving your best habit behind.a new type of problem may arise.its not physical its purely mental.i am not sure this will happen with every one or not.and i am ready to listen from the readers what are their experience.you may feel that your power of thinking have changed a bit or you may feel some kind of change in your mental ability.about this i am not sure.so we will find it from different readers of this post.please do post your comments about this so that every one will know the truth.
